What's a "word"?

A sequence of characters separated by whitespace or punctuation. We count what you submit for checking — not characters, not tokens.

Can I switch variants per document?

Yes. Your account has a default variant, but you can override it on any document — or any check. Useful if you write in en-US during the day and de-DE in the evening.

Do unused words roll over?

No. Each word pack has a validity period (30, 90, or 365 days). Words not used by the end expire. When you buy a new pack, the new validity period applies to your whole remaining balance.

Is my text used to train AI models?

No, not without your explicit consent. We process your text to perform the check and discard it (with short-lived caching to speed up repeat checks). See the Privacy Policy.

Who is my Merchant of Record?

Paddle.com Market Ltd. Your card statement will show Paddle. Paddle handles billing, invoices, and applicable VAT/sales tax. Codexo grants the words after Paddle confirms the payment.

How do refunds work?

Word packs can be refunded within 14 days if no words have been used. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and won't auto-renew; the partial month is not refunded. Full terms: Refund Policy.

Which platforms are supported?

Today: web app and browser extensions (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). Coming: desktop apps for Windows and macOS, and mobile keyboards.
