Pricing FAQ
What's a "word"?
A word is a sequence of characters separated by whitespace or punctuation, as your text is segmented for analysis. We count words you submit for checking — not characters, not tokens.
Do unused words roll over?
No. A pack has a fixed validity period (30, 90, or 365 days). Words that aren't used by the end of that period expire and are forfeited. When you make a new purchase, your remaining balance and the new words take on the validity period of the new purchase — the expiry clock resets.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can switch between word packs, between subscription tiers, or between packs and subscriptions, at any time. Buy a new pack and the new validity period applies to your whole balance; cancel a subscription and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Do you offer refunds?
Word packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase if no words have been used. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time and don't auto-renew; we don't refund the partial month. See the full Refund Policy.
Who actually charges my card?
Paddle.com Market Ltd. is our Merchant of Record. Your card statement will show Paddle (or a Paddle-related descriptor), not Codexo. Paddle handles payments, invoices, and applicable VAT/sales tax. We get the order and grant the words after Paddle confirms the payment.
Do you offer team or enterprise pricing?
Yes — see For Teams. For larger orgs that need custom terms, write to support@codexo.dev.
